When this announcement was made at the Duck Supper, some of us might not have been paying as much attention as we should have been, so here it is again. Take note!

John Davidson has once again kindly organised a Golf Day for us. We will be returning to Sapey Golf Club on Thursday March 31st for nine holes of par three and 18 holes on the main course (for those of us who can still manage to get round the full 18 holes, having done nine holes in the morning), interrupted only by the arrival of a full English breakfast which, for most of us, is the undoubted highlight of the day. The cost will be the same as 12 months earlier, a remarkably competitive £20 per person for the golf and the food, to include a small margin for prizes. And at the end of it all, the organiser will walk away with the winner’s wine, no doubt.

All those Bedouins the club has an email address for, should now (in theory) automatically receive an email whenever there is new content to be seen on the website, whether it be News, Match Reports, or additions to the blog. If the system is working you should be reading this having had notification in your inbox. If it’s not working, I shan’t look a fool because you’ll all be none the wiser. We’ll see…

Hopefully this will save the Head of Comms having to concoct physically an email when there’s some news to tell, and you guys won’t have to keep checking to see what’s new. God, we’re so high tech these days.
